Wendy Finley: The Storyteller
I’m Wendy, a daughter, sister, and a mother of a 19-year-old daughter and dog. I was born and raised in Southeast, Washington, DC but have lived in Maryland for nearly 3 decades.
I have a passion for connecting with people and capturing precious moments through photography, which I believe is deeply rooted in my upbringing and experiences. For years, I loved going through hundreds of pictures from our childhood throughout our house, photo albums and in plastic bags! I’m grateful to have used my social skills of connecting with people from all walks of life from the social work field which helped my love for photography flourish.
I truly believe one of my purposes in life is to make others smile and feel good by capturing and preserving moments in time and make them powerful and meaningful art in their eye. I also hope to bring joy and help others see the beauty in themselves through the expressions of photography. I help people to relive and cherish their special moments.
I want that person or event in that image to bring some sort of positive impact on people’s lives through
my art, their art.
